Royalty Recruitment are expanding our pool of Casual HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers based out of Anglesey, following increased demand from our long-standing clients.
Several of our regular drivers have recently been offered permanent roles with our clients, which we’re incredibly proud of — and it means we now have new opportunities available for reliable drivers to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work, additional income, or those wanting to remain active within the HGV industry while maintaining control over their working schedule.
The Role
As a Casual HGV Driver, you will be contacted to support our clients during:
Staff sickness cover
Annual leave cover
Busy operational periods
Additional workloads and peak times
Weekend or short-notice shifts (where required)
Work will typically involve trunking and general haulage duties with trusted and well-established clients across the region.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
A valid Driver CPC qualification
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
A professional and reliable attitude
Good timekeeping and communication skills
Strong awareness of driver safety and compliance
Previous trunking or general haulage experience is beneficial, but reliability and professionalism are key.
